"I would like to thank you and everyone at The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater for making this year's annual meeting and I quote from a handwritten note I received from our President and CEO, William Talbert, "The BEST EVER". As I mentioned to you and the incomparable Jim Dalton, of all the things I had to worry about, neither of you were ever on that list. I am overwhelmed by your professionalism and commitment, especially when everything was done that you said would be without me having to follow-up incessantly on my end. As you know, I worked at a local ballet company for a while and worked very closely with a variety of stage personnel around the community. Jim Dalton is by far, the best and most knowledgeable ever.
Of all of the moving pieces and high tech production, you and your team were never part of my worry or losing sleep, everything else took care of the sleep loss. I am so grateful that you and your team showcased to our members, colleagues, the hospitality industry and a host of elected officials what an amazing venue The Fillmore is and what exceptional work ethic and professionalism means. You were all responsible for making our most important meeting of the year and my first ever at the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau such a tremendous success. The major stress I feel now is exceeding the expectation that you have all set for me and actually being able to raise an impossible bar.
Please extend our deepest thanks to everyone and especially to Shaneil at Bill Hansen Catering for providing us with beautiful, delicious and exotically fabulous fare and an incredibly memorable culinary experience. It’s been a few days and everyone is still talking about the food!
